Short Description     

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Duties

• To assist the research team in notify participants about their appointments on site;
• To transport staff to different areas for recruiting of study participants;
• To transport pregnant women, mothers, infants and young children to and from the site;
• To assist with tracking participants;
• To transport biological samples to the Tygerberg campus if needed;
• To transport biological samples to NHLS, Worcester;
• To collect stock from suppliers and Tygerberg campus when needed;
• To take responsibility for the study vehicle;
• Keeping a daily transport log;
• To assist the clinical team in general operational tasks.

Job Requirements

• Must have a South African Senior Certificate, or an equivalent secondary education qualification;
• Must have experience working in a clinical setting with caregivers and children;
• Must have ability to work independently as well as within a team;
• Must have residing in Worcester or Breede Valley area;
• Must have excellent knowledge of the Breede Valley;
• Must have a valid driver’s licence;
• A skilled driver with an excellent driving record;
• Fluent in English, Afrikaans and/or isiXhosa;
• Computer literacy.
