Short Description     

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.


  • To ensure a conducive working environment that includes safe, clean and a well-coordinated workspace that meets modern office environment standards in the Johannesburg office and liaise with hub administrators in the hubs to ensure a conducive work environment in the hubs.
  • To oversee the maintenance of company facilities and equipment through regular and appropriate interaction with relevant service providers. Report any breakages or improvements to be done.
  • To provide oversight of the use of general office facilities working hand in hand with the administrator to ensure meetings, conferences, events are well planned and meeting rooms are adequately managed and provided for such events.
  • To manage and coordinate any regional events working with the relevant departments and the office administrator to ensure all needs are met prior and during the events.
  • To assist the office administrator in arranging staff lunches where necessary
  • Tp manage the relationship with landlord and/or their representatives and act as the point of contact for any 54 on Bath landlord related issues.
  • In conjunction with the Procurement Officer, assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and promote good procurement practices in line with TechnoServe’s Procurement policies.
  • To provide personal assistance to the CD timeously and accurately


  • Must have personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
  • Must have degree in Human Resource Management/ business administration related field.
  • Mus have at least 3 years’ experience in HR Administration and Office Management.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a range of seniority levels.
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Payroll VIP Software)
  • Must be strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills
