Short Description

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Responsibilities:

To advise regulatory engagement plan to ensure obtaining and retaining of permits
Align with other Anglo American Platinum functions on permits to be obtained and identify critical tasks and stakeholders to be engaged
To prepare and facilitate engagements on permits with regulatory stakeholders on a nation-wide level
To input into Anglo American Platinum Business Unit-level cross-functional integration on sustainability
To contribute to building relationships with key stakeholders relevant to the discipline on a Business Unit level, ensuring engagements are consistent with Business Unit and Group sustainability initiatives and standards
To ensure compliance of the discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements
To ensure compliance to engagement polices and SEAT
This position is in the Corporate Affairs department at a Band 6 level reporting Stakeholder & Government Relations Manager.

Job Experience

Must have 5 years working experience in the mining regulatory environment
Must have experience in Stakeholder Engagement
Must have proficient in stakeholder engagement and ability to win the support and confidence of stakeholders
Must have extensive conflict resolution and proficiency in analytical skills
Project Management
Advanced Computer skills
Proficient understanding of Government structure and workings on a National, Provincial and Local level specifically relating to Enabling Infrastructure
Possess leadership qualities with advanced communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills
