Short Description     

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have matric.
  • Must have essential: Relevant degree in either Industrial Psychology.
  • Must have beneficial: Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Psychology.
  • Must have essential: Proof of registration at the HPCSA.
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in HR generalist role required.
  • Essential: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have essential: Previous experience in SAGE 300 system will be advantageous.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To manage relevant ad hoc projects / administration processes.
  • To responsible to allocate talent matrixes.
  • To responsible for succession planning.
  • Aid with Employment Equity and BBBEE reports and participate in BBBEE verification processes.
  • To provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
  • To provide annual training in accordance with the Skills Development Act.
  • To handle all relevant communication with SETA.
  • To organize and plan all training for the company and manage the development and training team.
  • To responsible for the compilation and management of annual training budget.
  • To provide a consulting and advisory function to management on HR related issues.
  • To assess and anticipating HR-related needs.
  • To responsible for all HR activities, including organizational development, benefits, administration, employee relations, training and development, and talent management.
  • To build and maintain strategic partnerships and aligning business objectives with management and employees.
  • To assist line management in identifying needs or training and team performance, interventions, and low overall performance.
  • To manage all study assistance, learner ships, apprentices, internships, and graduates.
  • To psychometric assessments, reporting and feedback.
  • To provide Input on Employment Equity and BBBEE reports and participate in BBBEE verification processes.
  • To manage job grading processes and advise and assist company in process.
  • To mentor, develop and coach staff.
  • To responsible for the on-boarding of new recruits.
