Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.
Requirements
- Matric
- Must have minimum of 3 years’ Hospitality experience in a similar position (5-Star luxury property/establishment) (Essential)
- Must have computer literate (MS Office)
- Must have excellent command of the English Language (verbal & written)
- Sound knowledge of Housekeeping, Laundry and Public Area Service procedures.
- Must have sound knowledge of stock procedures and control.
- Sound knowledge of product and supply, and sound knowledge of hygiene.
- Must have valid driver’s licence (no endorsements)

- Professional and well groomed
Key Performance
- To complete management of the Housekeeping function
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, organized and disciplined work ethics
- To ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared, maintain cleanliness of all vacant rooms daily to the property and company standard.
- To ensure turn down service is performed to the property and company standards.
- Safekeeping and monitoring of laundry and housekeeping equipment
- To ensure all information available on guests are collected and communicated prior to arrival.
- To set annual operating targets, which will form part of the property’s annual business plan.
- To manage and monitor all costs and implement measures to control them.
- To monitor and train, review, and implement performance standards to establish and maintain a streamlined and efficient operations.
- To ensure that departmental operations and training manuals are prepared and updated.
- Fulfill Reception duties when necessary.
