Short Description

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Key performance

To develop tactical delivery plans in alignment with operational and organisational strategic objectives in partnership with departmental leadership
To develop and implement various targeted loss prevention programmes, ensuring safeguarding of all assets and resources
Initiate, guide and communicate trends and best practice in physical security and loss prevention
Co-ordinate and facilitate the development, alignment and implementation of effective physical security delivery programmes across the Organisation
To develop and implement information security and document management systems
To influence and communicate with all levels of the organisation to minimize resistance to change and ensure on boarding of all target audiences
Lead and manage teams by providing a meaningful context, setting performance standards, clarifying roles and educating on policy and practice
To ensure the integrity and effective administration of information security and document governance and compliance processes
To monitor and enforce effective financial control, corporate governance and financial compliance throughout area of accountability
To develop and ensure effective implementation of loss prevention management methodologies, techniques and systems

Qualifications

A relevant B degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
Metro Police Qualification from an Institution accredited by the Road Traffic Management Corporation & South African Police Services comprising of: Traffic Officer Diploma & Law Enforcement Skills Certificate
Must have 8 years’ management experience in a Metro Police Department/ South African Police Service / Law Enforcement / Security environment
Must have valid driver’s license (At least Code B)
Must have clear criminal record or illicit activity recorded
Registered as Traffic Officer
Strategic capability and leadership skills
Stakeholder relationship management skills
Sound knowledge of relevant operating and applicable database systems
Excellent knowledge of applicable training programmes
People management and empowerment skills
Financial management skills
