Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Job Responsibilities

• To coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• To produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
• To allocate general and daily responsibilities
• To supervise and train workers and tradespeople
• To ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• To guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• To supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• To monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
• To resolve problems when they arise
• To report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

Key Requirements

• Must have proven experience as construction foreman
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Must have understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Must have ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Must have excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Must have ability to communicate and report effectively
• Aptitude in math
• Problem-solving abilities
• Must have good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
