Short Description     

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Responsibilities

• To cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, dusting of the designated areas, (which includes toilets and shower areas), fixture and fittings, using where appropriate, powered equipment
• The movement of items of furniture as necessary to facilitate cleaning
• To ensure keys are issued and returned within the policy and procedure of the Domestic Department
• To making of beds as required especially at the beginning and end of terms and during the letting’s periods
• Comply with all Colleges policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required
• To be flexible to the needs of the College and amend in certain circumstances the hours of work
• To cover weekend cleaning requirements on a rota of not less than1 weekend in 4 all year round
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably required
