Short Description     

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Placing / receiving monthly orders on My Market within budget for units
• To ensure all My Market orders are closed before ending off monthly accounts
• Timeous update of order sheets
• To generate accurate monthly client invoices and statements on AX and forwarding to clients within deadline •
• To track of all monthly PO’s and quotes received
• Daily debtor’s collection and accurate allocation of receipts
• Weekly compilation of vendor imports
• To maintain customer and supplier checklists
• Reviewing monthly statements with major suppliers
• Weekly submission of EFT requisitions
• To monitor all costs are captured in their respective months (no unrecorded supplier invoices)
• Signing-off monthly finances within set deadline
• To accurate forecasting of monthly unit results
• To variance reporting between forecast and actual
• To ensure compliance with monthly deadlines
• To maintain monthly filling and source documents
• To compliance with approved capex procedures
• To assisting in budget processes

Key requirements

• Must have minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position is essential
• Must have strong Financial background
• To data capturing (accurate)
• AX and My Market experience an advantage
• Must have bookkeeping/accounting experience or knowledge essential
• Must have strong excel skills required
• Good communication skills
• Organisational and administrative skills, honesty and integrity
• Must have ability to maintain confidentiality
• Logical thinking skills
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven
• Must have matric –related tertiary education an advantage
• Must have bookkeeping certificate or related qualification an advantage
