Job Responsibilities

To review all intercompany loan, salary and clearing account reconciliations on a monthly-basis.
To escalate uncleared and unusual differences older than 30 days to the Balance sheet accountant.
To ensure outstanding reconciling items are followed-up and;
Distribute clearing account, salary account and loan account reconciliations to relevant parties within the reporting timeframe.
To rnsure that the maintenance of the monthly FAR is maintained including but not limited to depreciation, disposal, reconciliation, capex tracker and cash flow forecast.
To review monthly FAR recon to ensure that the FAR balances with the trial balance.
Follow up and clear any variances within 30 days.
Escalate any risk items identified to the Balance sheet accountant.
Process General Ledger journals on request from Business Partners and Balance Sheet accountant.
To assist with ad hoc queries from the Balance sheet accountant.
To ansure General Ledger journal approvals process is followed for all journals posted by the Balance Sheet team.
To act as a back-up when fellow clerks are absent or on leave.
